This cohort also goes the deepest building community connections.

Building intimate relationships with the plants is foundational to learning herbalism. The People's Medicine School is focused on creating a deep connection with herbs so that we are better able to gratefully work with their gifts towards healing and liberation for ourselves, our families and our communities. This connection is fostered thru in-depth online modules, 3 times monthly live zoom meetings, a lively student forum, student study groups, regional meet-ups, feedback on assignments and optional add-on in-person immersions and classes.

The Online Modules are seasonally aligned and will focus on:

• Energetics & Herbal Actions

• Materia Medica

• Medicine Making (teas, decoctions, infusions, infused oils, salves, tinctures, vinegars, elixirs, honeys, flower essences and more!)

• People and Plant Connection & Communication

• Working with Weeds, Wild, Abundant, Local and Easily Grown Medicinals

• Overview of Body Systems

• Decolonizing Western Herbalism & Racial, Social and Health Justice

The Live Meetings include:

• A Monthly Q & A with amanda (hybrid IRL & Zoom)

• Monthly Mutual Aid Meet-ups (hyprid IRL & Zoom)

• Bi-Weekly Student-led Study Sessions (Zoom)

• Twice Monthly Guest Facilitators Knowledge Shares (Zoom) with and incredible lineup of BIPOC brilliance including:
