What's In This Bottle? The Art of Labeling Herbs
In this class we will discuss the product labeling guidelines and requirements for culinary and herbal dietary supplements. We will also explore creative, innovative ways to use poetic imagery to illustrate the contents and indications of the herb products we make our home apothecaries.

Geo Edwards (him) is an educator and healing arts practitioner born and raised in Milwaukee WI whose work integrates herbal medicine, acupuncture and art therapy. He is owner of Grain & Pestle, a market and healing arts garden apothecary based in Highland Park Michigan, ancestral homeland of the Anishinaabe. Geo’s herb and gardening practice has multiple influences that includes Black Southern farming, Maroon herbal traditions, and Classical Chinese Medicine. Geo is a guest lecturer in colleges, universities, and community herbalism schools nationally and internationally. He currently practices acupuncture in Detroit and facilitates classes & workshops on numerous topics ranging from art and mental health to ecology, herbal medicine, and wholistic health.
